Job Summary
We are seeking fluent speakers of select international languages (such as French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin) to join our international cabin crew. As an LOD Flight Attendant, you will perform all the rigorous safety and service duties of a standard flight attendant, with the added responsibility of facilitating communication and hospitality for our non-English speaking customers. You will fly predominantly on long-haul international routes, ensuring our global clientele experiences the care and clarity they deserve.
Specialized Responsibilities
- Linguistic Hospitality: Make in-flight public address announcements in your designated language, translating critical safety instructions and service offerings accurately.
- Cultural Ambassadorship: Provide culturally attuned customer service, understanding the unique customs and expectations of passengers traveling to and from your language's native region.
- Customs & Immigration Assistance: Assist passengers with completing complex international arrival documents, customs declarations, and immigration forms.
- Emergency Translation: In the event of an in-flight medical emergency, security issue, or irregular operation, provide rapid and precise translation between passengers, the flight deck, and medical consultants on the ground.
- Core Cabin Duties: Execute all standard pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including securing the cabin, deploying emergency equipment, and executing premium meal services in our Delta One cabins.

Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Native or highly proficient fluency in English AND a designated target language (reading, writing, and speaking). Must pass a rigorous third-party language proficiency examination.
- Valid passport granting unrestricted access to global destinations.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including multi-day international trips, weekends, and holidays.
